"FORTY & EIGHT" VETERANS OFFER NEW ONLINE MEDIA KIT
INDIANAPOLIS April 11, 2005 The national headquarters of the "Forty & Eight" veterans organization today announced its production of a new Online Media Kit, accessible at http://fortyandeight.org/national_media_kit.htm.
The Online Media Kit was specifically created for busy news professionals who require at-a-glance information regarding the nearly 50,000 member Forty & Eight national veterans organization.
"We are proud of who we are and of what we do", said Mac McCarthy, Chef de Chemin de Fer (national commander) of the Forty & Eight.
"Since 1920, the Forty & Eight has been per capita one of the most charitable veteran organizations in America", said McCarthy. "We are elite... a very high percentage of our members are proven leaders in the veteran community who take great pride in our organization’s many excellent charitable programs."
"Thus we are delighted to offer to all interested citizens, and especially to our friends in the Media, an informative overview of the Forty & Eight via our Online Media Kit", said McCarthy.
The Forty & Eight, founded in 1920, is a charitable honor society of American wartime veterans. Its programs include Child Welfare, Nurses Training, Youth Sports, Flag Education and Americanism.
